CellCura has secured in excess of NOK 60 million in new equity since year end and was listed on Oslo Axess in October 2010. CellCura has completed the initial R&D phase and are now focussing on go to market activities.
CellCura’s mission is to develop and commercialize cell technologies such as novel equipment and products for use in assisted reproductive technology (ART) and stem cell research. CellCura’s technologies and products represent unprecedented levels of safety and efficacy. CellCura’s product lines represents a quantum leap in lab efficiency and safety. CellCura has, in close cooperation with experts from the ART industry, developed a completely new generation of integrated laboratory solutions designed to secure safe, efficient, ergonomic and controlled environment for cellular treatment. The first orders are received and will be delivered to one of Europe’s most prestigious university clinics ultimo December 2010. First player to launch a Protein Free Medium CellCura is the first player globally to launch a unique range of Protein Free Media products that can be used in ART. CellCura’s Protein Free Media has been developed through more than 15 years of research and more than 50 children have been born using this medium. CellCura started distribution of Protein Free Medium to customers in Asian markets in 4th quarter 2010. The delivery of the first commercial order represents an important milestone for the company and is a first step towards global distribution. “Regulatory and structural changes in the ART industry calls for changes in the way clinics operate.
