VRI Oslo/Akershus supports four significant cluster projects: Renewable energy, Marine Life Science, E-health and Medtech. Oslo Medtech is the manager for both e-health and medtech, and thus has the role of facilitating the VRI-funding in these areas.

 

-          The VRI is an excellent program, and we are excited about these five companies and their partners entering their pre project phase with VRI-funding in place, says Oslo Medtech CEO Kathrine Myhre.

-          - Setred is very grateful for the VRI funding, which allows the company and our partners to start the work that we are currently describing in our BIA application. Experience tells us that you can come along way with feasibility studies with little funding. Grants such as VRI makes the decision process to perform feasibility studies much easier and attractive.
We are hoping and expecting that the outcome of the VRI work well help us to
better structure the BIA project if or when the application is accepted, says Setred CEO Christian Møller.

 

The companies partner with a research and developments institution in the Oslo area, and received a total of NOK 944.000 in pre-project financing under the VRI-scheme by the end of 2011/beginning of 2012.
