“We will supply the new hospital’s Integraton Engine and mobile solutions, but have a number of options that could increase the delivery volume significantly”, says Morten Andresen in Imatis.
Andresen is founder of Imatis, Board Member and Vice President Strategy, Products and Marketing.
The new hospital will be ready in 2016, and it comes with a 30 year operating agreement (5+5) years.
Imatis have the last two weeks been on a tour in Australia, experiencing great interest in their products. Obviously, some interest is due to having won the Adelaide Hospital contract, but in general there is considerable interest attached to the deliveries made in Norway earlier on, and also the very exciting deliveries to the Sjælland-region in Denmark. “Australia looks to Norway and Denmark to learn, and believe that we have the world's most advanced hospital sector. This is exciting, because in Norway we look to the USA etc, as we believe they are ahead of us”, Andersen explains.
“Imatis has a strong brand in Australia and we have stakeholders from both banks, construction companies, health providers, particularly from politicians and potential customers. The company looks very optimistic at the opportunities in Australia and will in the future strengthen its presence in the market, Andresen continues.
