Innovative Procurement (innkjøp) in Healthcare

Eva Hurtig, Oslo Municipality and the project Omsorg+ and Kathrine Myhre, CEO Oslo Medtech, - presenting for 'Procurement people'Oslo Medtech has together with Leverandørutviklingsprogrammet in NHO and KS, developed a method for Innovative Procurement. The method has been tested out in the procurement process of Oslo Municipalities project Omsorg+. At the Arendalskonferansen 21st and 22nd June, Oslo Municipality and Oslo Medtech presented the process – and inspired other Norwegian municipalities to use the same method in their procurement processes in the healthcare sector.

Oslo Medtech has together with Leverandørutviklingsprogrammet in NHO and KS, developed a method for Innovative Procurement. The method has been tested out in the procurement process of Oslo Municipalities project Omsorg+. At the Arendalskonferansen 21st and 22nd June, Oslo Municipality and Oslo Medtech presented the process – and inspired other Norwegian municipalities to use the same method in their procurement processes in the healthcare sector.

Oslo Medtech will in the fall of 2011 focus more on procurement (innkjøp) in the health sector – and will, in cooperation with Leverandørutviklingsprogrammet, facilitate dialogues between health-procurers and the industry, and assist and inspire the hospitals and the municipalities in Norway to be innovative in their procurement processes.
