Significantly better life quality with continent ileostomy
Significantly better life quality with continent ileostomy. Ostomycure in Kirurgen 2011A clinical trial is currently underway in collaboration between Akershus University Hospital, Oslo University Hospital and OstomyCure AS. The goal is to create a continent ileostomy with a continent mechanical valve with the help of a percutaneous implant that can be closed with a lid attached to the implant.
