Seminar at Oslo University Hospital, October 15, 2010

Medtech Switzerland, in cooperation with Oslo Medtech, is pleased to invite you to a seminar during the state visit of the President of Switzerland in Norway in October 2010. Medtech Switzerland is a federal platform to promote Swiss Medical Technology worldwide. The participants will include Norwegian business and institutions interested in the field, as well as high level representatives from the relevant authorities. The seminar will be concluded by a networking business luncheon on Friday, October 15.

Singapore is a multi-faceted regional medical hub, not only for healthcare services but also as a meeting place for medical professionals for conferences and training, Singapore is also a base for healthcare consultancy, manufacturing of medtech equipments & products and as the centre for research and clinical trials.

Forskningsparken AS har i dag inngått avtale om å overta deler av virksomheten i IT Fornebu Visjon AS. Det er samtidig inngått et langsiktig strategisk samarbeid om forvaltning av Inkubatoren på Fornebu.

I praksis betyr dette at Oslo Medtech med arbeidsressurser får Forskningsparken som fasilitator fra 1. juli 2010.

Innovation Norway, in cooperation with Oslo Medtech and the other medtech and ICT-clusters, invite Norwegian Medtech and Health ICT companies to attend and be partner in the planning of a Norwegian Expo for medtech and health ICT in China in September during the World Expo in Shanghai.

To increase the value of the trips to USA: Boston and Minneapolis for the companies, Innovation Norway/Boston invites to an “open-day”, on the 11th of March in Innovation Norway’s offices in Oslo, Akersgata.

Innovation Norway invites Norwegian Medtech and health ICT companies to Boston and Minneapolis 18.- 23. April.

On February 11th, the medtech QA & Regulatory Forum was re-launched – for the first time as a workgroup under the new Oslo Medtech organization. The objective of this workgroup is to create an arena where OMT members can share their knowledge and discuss these important topics.

Oslo Medtech member Falck Igel has changed their name to Abilia. The namechange comes as a result of the merger between Falck Igel and Gewa AB in Sweden.
